Enhanced English Curriculum
Students are able to pursue their study of English in smaller groups at Ecole Internationale Le Verseau, according to the students’ linguistic profile, ranging from beginner to native speaker. The enhanced English curriculum has enabled Ecole Internationale Le Verseau to be a Cambridge Testing Centre, recognised internationally. The courses are taught exclusively by native English-speaking teachers.

Independent Programme
Inspired by the UK curriculum, it follows a progressive and skill-based approach, ensuring that students develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities. The programme incorporates interactive lessons, project-based learning, and exposure to authentic English materials, creating a well-rounded linguistic foundation. Students benefit from native English-speaking teachers, a focus on critical thinking, and engaging subjects such as literature, debate, and creative writing.

Communications & International Relations Course in 5th and 6th Secondary
Students in Secondary Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to participate in the Communications & International Relations Course. This specialised programme is designed to develop advanced communication skills, critical thinking, and global awareness. Proposed activities

Theatre Programme
This planned programme will offer students a dynamic and engaging way to develop their linguistic skills through English-speaking plays.
Through an interactive and creative approach, students will not only improve their fluency but also develop essential skills such as public speaking, teamwork, and storytelling. Whether acting in classic or contemporary plays, they will gain a deeper appreciation for the English language and literature, making learning both enjoyable and impactful.

Excursions & Trips
VSAL will soon offer exciting English-oriented excursions and educational trips designed to immerse secondary students in real-world English language experiences.
Each trip will be carefully selected to complement the curriculum, reinforcing classroom learning through interactive situations. These excursions will not only enhance linguistic proficiency but also broaden students’ cultural perspectives.
N.B. Tickets and travel expenses are not included in the programme fees.

Public Speaking & Elocution
As an extension to the enhanced Enhance English Programme, VSAL is formulating an advanced module dedicated to public speaking and elocution. This course will focus on the development of presentation skills and confidence-building so that students can learn how to present to audiences of various sizes and in different styles. Training in elocution is an essential component to help students focus on expressive speech, distinctive pronunciation and articulation.
